About Joseph Cross

I will introduce my favorite artist “Joseph Cross”
He is from Saskatchewan, born in 1949, and has lived Cranbrook since 1974.

Joseph is a self-taught artist.
He works in several mediums (oils, acrylics, pastels, water colours, and pen and ink).
He is currently dealing with Eklectos Gallery in Idaho (SA)
and actively searching for other galleries in Canada and the U.S.

His Commissions & Collectors:
Crestbrook Forest Industries, Alberta Pacific Forest Industries Inc.,
and College of the Rockies, have commissioned Joseph to create portraits
and other works for presentations to individuals or corporations.
Undaunted by painting large canvasses has lead to his being commissioned to produce large murals
at the College of the Rockies climbing wall in Cranbrook, B.C.,
the Cranbrook Railway Centennial project, Kenora Heritage Mural Society in Ontario,
and the Royal Canadian Legion, Cranbrook.

I like his landscape oil and pastel paintings.
He is best known for his still lifes and landscapes.
